Obituary of Hubert Ray Flanery

Hubert Ray Flanery, 71, of Klondike, Texas, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 in Klondike, Texas.

Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel.  

Hubert was born in Cooper, Texas on October 24, 1946 to George and Leota Sellars Flanery. They have preceded him in death as well as a son, Nick Shanahan. He married Cindee Portner on May 16, 1987 in Stockton, Missouri. He was a well-known mechanic in Delta County as well as surrounding counties, he loved building and racing Drag cars, working on tractors and helping people in the community.

Survivors include his wife, Cindee Flanery; daughter, Joy Flanery Emerson; son, Kenneth Flanery; son, Timothy Flanery; daughter, Melody Rogers; son, Joseph Flanery; son, James Shanahan; son, Josh Shanahan; 14 Grandchildren; 5 brothers, Gerald Flanery, Harold Flanery, Paul Flanery, Archie Flanery, Clyde Flanery and 3 sisters, Betty Devereux, Iris Gross and Geneva Lamb
