Obituary of Mattie Lorene Sandlin

Mattie Lorene Sandlin 94 passed away Saturday April 15, 2017 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Formerly of Ladonia. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. April 19, 2017 at Pecan Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Delta Funeral Home in Cooper from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday. Mattie was born August 7,1922 in Pecan Gap, Texas to Weldon and Ada “Wright” Crouch. They have preceded her in death as well as her husband Coleman Sandlin, son; Donnie Sandlin, daughter; Vickie Shaw Davis, grandson; Mathew Shaw, three sisters and four brothers. Mattie is survived by two sons; Ronnie Sandlin and wife Sharon of Winnsboro, TX, Wayne Sandlin and Sherry Conley of Pattonville, TX, daughter; Melinda McLemore and husband James of Pickton, TX, brother; J.W. Crouch of Mt. Vernon, TX, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Mattie married Coleman Sandlin September 9, 1939 in Roxton, Texas.
