I met Louis "Reddog" when Bruce and I were dating back in high school. He was always so nice to me and had a great sense of humor. I loved watching him play basketball. Lewis was a good & loyal friend to many people. He will be missed. What a character!

As the ex-wife, I debated whether to comment. .but felt I should..he was a great guy..
I first met Louis in my first year, sophomore, at Odessa High School....new to Odessa, didn't know a soul, and one of my first friends, Betsy Daves, was bound and determined to find a boyfriend for me!...at lunch one day, a group of really tall guys walked by our table, and one was wearing a suede jacket with the fringe on the sleeves, that caught my attention, so I told her I want to meet that one. ...just so happened she was in biology with him, ..we met, and the rest is history. .......Louis was a good guy, a hard working guy, and we had 2 beautiful, very well adjusted, and successful daughters, and 3 incredible grandchildren. ......I wish to give condolences to all of his family, especially to his wife Mary Beth , from what I have seen, you have been amazing together, and also to Dorothy , his mom, but I still think of her as my mom too, and Tammy, the little sister I always wanted.........and our wonderful daughters Jessie and Crystal, too....All of you are in my prayers, ....I am so sorry for your loss. .......... RIP Louis.

Louis and I were old friends from junior high through high school. We used to hang out in the park across the street from where he lived. Louis was a good guy and I sad to hear this. Rest in peace my friend.
