Obituary of Granville Lee Fields

~~Granville Lee Fields, 96, of Commerce passed away Thursday September 28, 2017.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m.  Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Ladonia Church of Christ, with Clint Norwood officiating.  Interment will follow at the Center Point Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Delta Funeral Home.
Granville was born December 31, 1920 in Bartley Woods, Texas to Charlie and Virgie Lee “Williams” Fields.  They have preceded him in death as well as his wife Nona Fields, a son Glen Ray Fields and grandson Kenneth Dale Crews.
Granville was a carpenter, a postal carrier and a Veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by son; Jerry Fields and wife Mary of Mineral Wells, daughter, Martha Crews and husband Rickey of Pecan Gap, sister Mary Hayes, two brothers; Cecil Fields and Alvin Fields, 9 grandchildren, Tracy Oaks and wife Kelley of Bedford, Katrina Schold and husband Pat of Austin, Jennifer Fields and husband Sean of Cambridge, United Kingdom, Rebecca Fields of Grapevine, Kerry Crews and wife Tracy of Commerce and Steven Crews of Wolfe City;  Jason Fields and wife Sara of Campbell, Lisa Smith and husband Bud of Greenville, South Carolina, and Curtis Ford of Louisana,15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Kerry Crews, Steven Crews, Jason Fields, Alan Fields, Jeff Hayes and Tracy Oaks will serve as pallbears. Honorary pallbears will be Danny Humphries and Audie Apple.
