Obituary of Martha Mona Hale

~~Martha Mona Hale 93 passed away Thursday October 5, 2017. She was born October 23, 1923 in Lake Creek, Texas to Leon Prentice and Esther “Chambliss” Donaldson. They have preceded her in death as well as her husband Bill Hale. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Layn Phillips of Laguna Beach, CA, son and daughter-in-law, David and Jamie Hale of Dallas, TX, and three grandchildren, Amanda Saunders, Parker Phillips and Graham Phillips and two great grandchildren. Mona was a homemaker and a great mother and grandmother to her family.  She exemplified strength and unwavering support and love for her family, always putting them first and time and time again sacrificing to provide support and encourage her children to be the best they could be. To be with Mona was a delight as she was so bright and engaging and connected with people through active listening and a genuine interest in what was important in people’s lives.  
Memorial graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday October 13, 2017 at Lake Creek Cemetery. You may pay your respects online at www.deltafuneralhome.com.
