SHARON BAILEY

Sharon Bailey, 71, of Roxton, passed away Sunday, December 31,2017, at her home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11 AM, at the Cooper Church of Christ with Noel Bailey and Bruce Roebuck officiating and interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral home. Family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at the funeral home.

Sharon was born in Cooper, Texas, August 10,1946 to Eldridge Jarrell and Geraldine Frazier Jarrell. She was a wife, homemaker, worked at the Roxton Post Office and was a seller of Avon. She enjoyed taking care of people, cooking baking and spending time with her kids and grandkids, especially big family gatherings, traveling with Chris when they were able, reading and visiting with her Avon customers. She graduated from Cooper High School in 1964 and was a member of the 13th Street Church of Christ in Paris.

Siblings: James Jarrell & wife, Cindy of Cooper

Jerry Jarrell & wife, Frankie of Powderly

Children: Shane McMillan -Pampa, Clint McMillan -Paris, Caleb McMillan and fiance Lisa Howie of Yantis. Lisa (McMillan) Theye & husband, Elroy of Roxton, Christi Bailey Peterson of Cooper.

Grandchildren: Megan & Develon McMillan, Destiny & Isabella Theye, Cayla & Trenton McMillan and Eric Peterson & wife, Briana.

Great-Grandchildren: Emma Phillips, Oliver & Layla Peterson

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge & Geraldine Jarrell.
