Obituary of Helen Ruth Swaim

Helen Ruth Swaim 87 of Cooper passed away Friday January 5, 2018.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday January 8, 2018 at the East Delta Baptist Church with  Pastor Jake Vaughn officiating.  Burial will follow in the East Delta Cemetery.

Family will greet friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Helen was born August 27, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to Richard and Mable “Jordan” Crutcher.  They have preceded her in death as well as her husband W.D. Swaim.

Survivors include three sons; Danny Swaim, Sammy Swaim and Larry Swaim, a sister;  Norma Goforth, eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Helen was a homemaker and a member of the East Delta Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbears are Kevin Swaim, Coy Warner, Lance Swaim, Dustin Swaim, Jason Grounds and Brazos Phillips.
