Obituary of Patricia Ann Grant

Patricia “Pat” Ann Grant, 80, of Cooper, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Plano, Texas.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Cooper with Pastor Kaleb Wright officiating and interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5 - 8 pm at Delta Funeral Home.

Pat was born in Ben Franklin, Texas on May 6, 1937 to Jess and Naomi Moore Giddens. Pat was the manager of Dairy Queen for 20 years and Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Deel and wife Jackie of Rockwall, Texas; daughter, Karen Grant Hunter  of Cooper, Texas; daughter, Kathy Grant Cawthon and husband, Don of Bluff Dale, Texas; son, Terry Grant of Cooper, Texas; daughter, Kim Grant King of Cooper, Texas; daughter, Kelly Grant Magnuson and husband Chris of Cooper, Texas. 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  A brother, Jess Giddens Jr. and wife, Gail of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and sister, LaRue Savage and husband, Truman of Blue Ridge, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Wynn Grant; grandson, Adam King, great granddaughter, Joleigh Mauldin.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Grant Hunter, Shane Hoskison, Patrick Hunter, Dustin Hoskison, Josh Hoskison, Heath Grant, Jud Hunter, Eli Mauldin, Kaden King, Honorary Pallbearer, Adam Glen King.
