Obituary of Troy Lee Cauley

Troy Lee Cauley 88 of Cooper passed away Tuesday May 29, 2018.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m  Friday June 1, 2018 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel.   Noel Bailey  and  Isaiah Terry will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Rattan Cemetery.

Pallbears will be his grandsons, Fred Cauley Jr., Daryl Cauley, Kyle Cauley, Stan Szafran, Tim Szafran, Bo Szafran, Chase Cauley, Trevor Cauley, Michael Harvey, and Matthew Harvey, Honorary Pallbears are Shane Carrington, John Kisic, Don Cauley, Robert Wright and Billy Jack Silman.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday May 31, 2018 at the Funeral Home.

Troy was born August 28, 1929 in Dial, Texas to Joseph W. and Stella Mae “Lanier” Cauley.  They have preceded him in death and his wife, Fredna Lakey Cauley and his siblings, Harley Ozment,  Riley  Ozment,

Palace Ozment, Charlie Cauley, J.C. Cauley, Willy Cauley and Rena Cauley.

He is survived by three sons; Freddie Lee Cauley (Sheila) of Dallas,Gary Wayne Cauley (Sherri) Cauley of Caddo Mills,  Randell Dean Cauley (Renee) of Sachse, two daughters; Marilyn Ann Serian (David) ofCooper and Rena Fae Harvey (Mike) of St. Paul, Texas.  Two sister-in-laws:  Jean Lakey of Fresno,

California and Patsy Avery of Bonham, Texas.  11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great

great grandchildren.

Troy was raised in Rattan TX and after retirement from A.B.F. in 1989 returned to his roots in Delta County and was a member of the Cooper Church of Christ.
