Richard A. Pedersen

Richard A. Pedersen, 79, entrepreneur of various automotive and agricultural ventures went home on the mountain to meet his savior on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was born to Kristian Pedersen and Correne Bennett Pedersen near Vanoss, Oklahoma on November 21, 1938.

He graduated from Vanoss High School in 1957 and enrolled in the Air Force in 1958. After two years of service, he returned home and married Brenda Stonecipher. Richard above all else valued his family and was very active in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. He enjoyed roping, golfing, picking up pecans, bargain shopping, but most of all hunting elk on the mountains of Colorado.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brothers Carroll and John, his sister Bobbie Gentry and his daughter in-law Sonyia. He is survived by his wife Brenda; sisters: Helen Watson, Sherri (Bob) Wick; Shelia Brown; Sonja (Larry) Cluck; Laura (Wayne) Cothren; brothers: Paul (Margaret); Jim (Kathy); Charles (Beverly); Mike; Steve; children: Rick (Judi); Holley (Shaun) Young; grandchildren: Casey (Catie); Chase (Joseph); Kolt (Casey); Christyn; Simone; Dylan; great-grandchildren: Kamden; Faven; Stella; Evelyn; Nova and Avalie. 

Memorial Service will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Cooper, TX on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
