Obituary of Bill E. Duckworth

Bill E. Duckworth passed away peacefully Saturday, November, 3, 2018, at his home in Dallas.

Funeral services are set for Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Neal Cochran officiating. Interment follows in Oaklawn Cemetery.

The family receives friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the funeral  home.

He was born July 20, 1935, Charleston, to Lonnie and Rosa Turner Duckworth of Cooper.

He was proceeded by his loving wife of 45 years Melba Thompson Duckworth in 2010.

Also preceded by his father, Lonnie Duckworth; mother, Rosa Turner Duckworth and two brothers, Doyle Duckworth and Claud Duckworth.

Survivors include: Daughters, Sheila Lutkenhaus, Brenda Bennett  (Joey); Grandchildren, Gina Brindamour (Mike), Shaun Yarrito, Megan Smith; Great Grandchildren,  Kamryn and Hayden Brindamour; Brothers,  J.C., Ray, Troy and Jesse Duckworth; Sisters, Edith Jackson and Joyce Bulin and numerous niece and nephews.

He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by his family and favorite companions, Smokie and Patches.
