Obituary of Dorothy Stegall

Dorothy L. Stegall 88 of Cooper passed away Monday January 7, 2019.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 9, 2019 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Dorothy was born December 1, 1930 in Jacksonville, TX to Roy Albert and Jewell “Fields” Oden.  They have preceded her in death as well as her husband Douglas A. Stegall and a grandson Kevin Wayne Stegall. 

She is survived by three children Glenn Stegall and wife Diane of Klondike, Gwen Crutcher and husband B.D. of Enloe, Robert Stegall and wife Tammy Hardy of Powderly, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Dorothy married Douglas A. Stegall October 9, 1953 in Roxton they had been married 49 years at his passing. She had retired from Childcare at Texas A-M Commerce.

Serving as pallbears will be Rhett Crutcher, Colby Stegall, Cody Allen, Keith Roberts, Kyle Carroll and Chad Stegall.
