Obituary of Willie Mae Morgan

Willie Mae Morgan, 100 formerly of Cooper passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Delta Funeral Home  Chapel, with Royce Slough officiating.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Willie Mae was born December 13, 1918 in Cooper to William Sterling and Nellie Blanch Hutchinson Slough.  They have preceded her in death as well as her husband Sam Morgan, daughter Tahlie Carter and a grandson Kyle Carter.

Survivors include: son; William Samuel “Dub”  Morgan and wife Sheila of El Dorado, Ark. daughter; Sylvia Carter and husband Windel of Sunnyvale, 8 grandchildren; Cheryl Carter Fitzgerald and husband Steve, Stephen Morgan Carter and wife Jennifer, Cristie Carter Stewart, Carece Carter Burack and husband Mark, Pam Carter Peavy and husband Allen, Shannon Morgan Robinson and husband Shannon, Wesley Samuel Morgan, 20 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren

Willie Mae was a loving wife and mother being a homemaker since 1937.  She recently celebrated her 100th birthday.
