Obituary of Willie Dent Brown

Willie Dent Brown of Klondike, Texas passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel in Cooper, Texas with Reverend Arnis Payne officiating and interment will be in New Klondike Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Mark Brown, Mike Foxall, Shawn Foxall, Jeff Phifer, Brad Phifer, Richard Brown, Kirk Tanner and Honorary Pallbears his Co-Workers at Campbell Soup.

Willie was born in Commerce, Texas on July 31, 1957 to Samuel Henderson and Pauline “Hooten” Brown. They preceded him in death as well as 2 sister, Mary Evelyn Atterberry and Lou Ann Rizzo; 2 brothers, Ledous H. Brown and Donald Brown and 1 son, Jason Payne.

 He married Katherine Marie Whitaker on July 11, 2014 in Paris, Texas. He was an Electrician for Campbell Soup in Paris, Texas for 30 years and was a member of Eagles Lodge #3864.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Brown; son, Luke Brown and wife, Bessie of Klondike; son, Josh Brown and Kelli of Klondike; son, Joshua Payne of Paris, Texas; son, Justin Payne and wife, Tiffany of Okema, Oklahoma; daughter, Kerrigan Gentle of Paris, Texas; 10 grandchildren: Kaylee Brown, Logan Brown Hickman, Eli Brown, Eden Brown, Cali Payne, Benjamin Payne, Addelyn Payne, Serenity Payne, Colton Payne and Elizabeth Payne and 3 brothers, Alvin Brown of Quinlan, Texas; Randy Brown of Frisco, Texas and Danny Atterberry of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
