Obituary of Deanna Carter Landers

Deanna Carter Landers 82 of Cooper passed away peacefully Saturday March 23, 2019.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday March 25, 2019 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Stacy Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Lake Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Serving as pallbears are Jim Landers, Jeff Landers, Mike Gibson, Justin Gibson, Dan Lewis and David Smith.

Deanna was born December 29, 1936 in Antioch, TX to Lloyd and Laura Pearl Quisenbury Carter, who have preceded her in death as well as a sister; Barbara Jones. 

Deanna was married to Glenn Landers on October 7, 1955 in Broken Bow OK, he preceded her in death on December 23, 2010.

She is survived by her son; Markell Landers and wife Lisa of Cooper, granddaughter; Megan Landers and husband Ayman Elshamy of Spring, TX, great granddaughter; Raylee Gillean, sister; Joyce Cates and husband EJ of Cooper; brother and sister in-law; Gene and Barbara Landers of Cooper; brother in-law; Ray Jones of Garland, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deanna worked as a store manager in the grocery industry and Cooper ISD prior to retirement and was an active member of the Enloe Methodist Church.
