Obituary of Edna Earle Flowers

Edna Earle Flowers, 97, of Ben Franklin, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Ben Franklin United Methodist Church with Rev. Stacey Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories, Ben Franklin. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the funeral services at the church.

Edna was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on August 13, 1921 to William Humphries and Nora Monila “Guthrie” Rasberry. They have preceded her in death as well as her husband, J.V. Flowers, Jr. they married in Delta County on July 29, 1944.  Edna was a Homemaker and farmed alongside her husband for years and was a member of the Ben Franklin United Methodist Church since 1957.

Survivors include her niece, Rita Morris of Paris, Texas; great-niece, Shelley Crowell and husband, Ray, of Paris, Texas; great-nephew, Eric Morris of Ben Franklin, Texas; Marsha and Brad Crosswhite and family, Lisa and Travis Martin and family, Clayton Rasberry and family.  Special friends; Eudora Morris, Clarice Maddox and Bennie and Julie Lovell.
