Sherry you are in my heart and prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know Perry will forever be in your heart. David Jr. so enjoyed his times with you and Perry and the rest of the family. My grandson Justin always enjoyed spending time with you and Perry and all the cousins. I only wish I could have been there too. You will continue to be in my prayers and always in my heart. Love you my sweet niece. Aunt Brenda

I've know Perry & Sherry for many years. Sherry & I worked together @ El Sombrero & City's restaurant in Commerce during my teenage years. So I got to know them both really well. They are great people. A loving couple and good friends. I was totally heartbroken to learn of this tragedy. Debated actually. This could've been all avoided if people would just pay attention while driving. Now a great man is gone and many heart broken. I'm so sorry and angry that that life was taken before it's time because of someone's carelessness.
For the family and my dear friend Sherry, y'all have my deepest condolences. Y all will be in my prayers. This day and many days to come will be very difficult but rely on God and He will carry you through. Be at peace knowing you will see him again, for he is home with our Lord. May God give y'all peace and comfort.

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Percy’s family. For right now, there’s no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, “... power beyond what is normal...”, to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, “...all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out...”. Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. One way that God comforts us today is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow. For the Bible’s answers to life’s big questions please visit JW.org.

My warmest love and prayers of healing to Sherry and the family. I was blessed to be his brother in the fire department and then it continued on at work. Perry truly cared about people and it is exemplified by the vast number of family and friends that are devastated with his passing, myself included. In a phrase that I heard him say many times over "This sucks." God bless you.
